cPanel is a web hosting control panel that allows you to manage your web hosting account, including your email accounts. If you want to create your own email address using cPanel, follow these steps:
-
Log in to your cPanel account.
-
In the cPanel dashboard, go to the Email section and click on the Email Accounts icon.
-
In the Email Accounts page, enter the following information:
- Domain: Choose the domain name where you want to create the email account.
- Email: Enter the username for the email account, which will become the email address. For example, if you enter "info", the email address will be "info@yourdomain.com".
- Password: Enter a password for the email account.
- Mailbox Quota: Set the mailbox size for the email account.
- Click on the Create Account button to create the email account.
After creating the email account, you can access it using an email client, such as Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, or Apple Mail. You will need to use the email account's settings, such as the username, password, and server settings, to configure the email client and access your email account.
You can also use cPanel to manage your email account, such as changing the password, setting up email forwarding, or creating additional email accounts. In the Email Accounts page, you can click on the Manage button next to the email account to access its settings and make any changes.
